TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR GUEST CHECK-IN & BOOKINGS
Booking Confirmation & Payment Terms
- 1. Advance Payment: A reservation is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a valid booking confirmation voucher from an authorized channel partner or receipt of 50%–100% of the total reservation value including applicable taxes (GST).
- 2. Tariff Inclusion: Published rates cover accommodation and specified inclusions (meals/taxes) as detailed on the confirmation voucher. Charges for extra occupants apply as per hotel policy.
1.3. Settlement Options: Payments are accepted via UPI, major debit/credit cards, or direct bank transfer. Single cash transactions exceeding ₹200,000 are strictly prohibited in compliance with Section 269ST of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
Check-In, Mandatory Identification & C-Form Rules
- 1. Timings: Standard Check-In is 1:00 PM / 2:00 PM and Check-Out is 10:00 AM / 11:00 AM. Early arrivals and late departures depend on room availability and may incur hourly or half-day charges.
- 2. Identity Verification (Indian Nationals): Every adult guest must present an original physical government-issued photo ID upon check-in. PAN cards are strictly excluded as valid identity or address verification.
- 3. Foreign Nationals (Form C Compliance): In accordance with the Foreigners Order, 1948, foreign nationals and OCI cardholders must present a valid original passport and visa/OCI documentation. Registration is subject to the completion of online Form C filing with local police authorities.
2.4. Refusal of Service: Management retains the right to deny check-in without refund if guests fail to present required physical identification documentation.
Cancellations, Modifications & No-Shows

- 7–13 days prior to check-in: 50% refund.
- Fewer than 7 days prior / No-Show: 100% retaining fee (Non-refundable).
3.2. Processing Timelines: Eligible refunds will be remitted to the original payment source within 7–10 business days.
Hill-Station Operations, Weather & Force Majeure
- 1. Mountain Transit Advisory: Mukteshwar is situated in a high-altitude terrain where access routes may experience periodic weather delays, fog, landslides, or road clearing activities.
- 2. Transit Non-Liability: The property is not liable for delayed arrivals, missed stays, or cancellations resulting from external transit disruptions, vehicle breakdowns, landslides, or adverse weather conditions outside resort boundary controls.
4.3. Natural Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held accountable for failure to fulfill obligations caused by severe weather, natural events, landslide road blockages, acts of God, or regulatory movement restrictions.
Bonfire, Heating & Open-Flame Policy
- 1. Fire Safety: Outdoor bonfires are restricted strictly to designated fire pits and operated exclusively by hotel staff. Unapproved open flames, candles, or unauthorized campfires are prohibited on guest balconies, lawns, or surrounding forest property.
- 2. Weather Restrictions: Management reserves the right to suspend or cancel bonfire services during periods of high winds, dry drought conditions, heavy rainfall, or forest fire advisories issued by state authorities.
- 3. Schedule & Fees: Bonfires operate strictly between 6:30 PM and 10:00 PM. One complimentary session of [45/60 minutes] is offered per stay (where applicable). Additional firewood or extended usage incurs an eco-wood charge of ₹[Amount] + GST per session/bucket.
5.4. Heating Appliances: Electric heaters/radiators provided inside accommodations must be operated per staff instructions. Guests are strictly forbidden from operating portable gas heaters, charcoal braziers (angithis), or external heating devices due to risk of carbon monoxide hazards and fire safety risks. Guests must power off room heaters when vacating the premises.
Driver Accommodation, Parking & Meal Policy
- 1. Terrain Parking: Complimentary on-site or nearby off-site parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking in steep gradient terrain is at the vehicle owner’s risk. The resort assumes no liability for vehicle damage, weather exposure, or fallen forest debris.
- 2. Driver Lodging:
- Where Available: Basic dormitory/staff facilities for personal drivers may be booked at ₹[Amount] + GST per night, subject to advance reservation.
- Where Unavailable: If on-site facilities are occupied, the front desk can direct drivers to independent rest houses located in Mukteshwar town (payable directly).

- 3. Driver Meals: Driver meals are not included in standard room plans. Simple meals can be purchased at the staff dining section for ₹[Amount] + GST per meal. Personal drivers are not permitted in guest-exclusive dining, restaurant, or balcony areas.
6.4. Driver Safety: Drivers must submit photo identification (Driver’s License or government photo ID) at the desk upon arrival and observe resort quiet hours (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM). Idling engines or playing loud audio in parking zones is prohibited.
High-Altitude Infrastructure, Essential Utilities & Eco-Disclaimers
- 1. Power Infrastructure: Mountain power grids can experience environmental fluctuations. The property operates backup generators/inverters for core circuit loads (lighting, basic charging, Wi-Fi). High-wattage heating appliances may run on scheduled backup cycles.
- 2. Water Conservation: Mountain spring freshwater is a precious local resource. Hot water supply operates via solar/electric geysers on daily schedules (7:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM). Pressure variations during peak usage or winter frosts reflect mountain conditions and do not represent a service deficiency.
- 3. Connectivity: Regional cellular coverage (Airtel, Jio, BSNL) and satellite Wi-Fi links depend on atmospheric conditions and local network tower stability. The resort is not liable for temporary carrier bandwidth slowdowns or regional network disruptions.
7.4. Utility Disruption Policy: Temporary environmental variations in power, water, or network connectivity fall under high-altitude operational parameters and do not constitute grounds for tariff reductions or post-arrival refunds.
Guest Conduct, Eco-Policies & Property Damage
- 1. Quiet Hours: Outdoor music systems, external speakers, or loud outdoor gatherings are strictly prohibited between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM to protect local wildlife and guest tranquility.
- 2. Smoking & Alcohol: Smoking inside guest rooms or enclosed structures is strictly prohibited; designated outdoor smoking zones are provided. Alcohol consumption must comply with state regulations and remain restricted to private room spaces.
8.3. Property Damage: Guests assume financial responsibility for intentional or negligent damage caused to resort structures, fixtures, or furnishings during their stay. Repair costs will be billed prior to checkout.
Safety, Valuables & Liability Limitations
- 1. Valuables: Guests are responsible for securing their personal belongings. Management accepts no liability for loss or damage to items left unattended in common areas or guest quarters.
9.2. Outdoor Activities: Participation in treks, nature walks, cliff viewing, or outdoor sports is undertaken entirely at the guest’s own risk. The property assumes no liability for personal injuries or illness resulting from outdoor activity.
Jurisdiction & Applicable Law
- 1. Legal Framework: These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings or disputes arising from bookings or resort stays shall fall exclusively under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Nainital District, Uttarakhand.
